My Latest Sewing Project Featured in Sewing World Magazine

Here’s my new sewing project featured in the latest issue of Sewing World (Jan ’13 issue). It has made it to the front cover, whoopee!

Pinch me, I must be dreaming. No wait, don’t wake me up! I’m enjoying this dream too much. Thank you Julie (Sewing World editor).

iPad Sleeve designed by SusieDDesigns Sewing World Feature

This is my iPad / Tablet Sleeve sewing pattern which I made in gorgeous fabrics by Michael Miller – Birds of Norway in Espresso and Ta Dot in Fuchsia and Moss. I think the fabric design and colours lend themselves well to the festive season and an ideal project to make for anyone who gets an iPad or other tablet in their stocking this year, lucky people!

A big thank you to Fancy Pants Fabrics on Etsy, where I bought these lovely fabrics. They are based in the USA but deliver to the UK and prices are very reasonable.

Check out Sewing World magazine at their Facebook page or see Traplet Publications for latest copy, back issues or subscription offers.

Get the PDF downloadable sewing pattern, for the 10” Tablet Sleeve, from my Etsy shop.

    1. Thank you so much, it’s so exciting. I’ve not had time to blog for ages and had so much news this week. So taking the time to catch up, doing another post as we speak as I’m going to showcase some more of my customers’ makes soon. Merry Christmas to you, hope you have a lovely holiday.
