New Fabrics from Dashwood Studio: Prairie and Christmas Wish

Dashwood Studio have some fabulous, new fabric collections coming soon! The Prairie collection and the Christmas Wish collection are lovely, my mind is already brimming with project ideas for them. Several bag designs come to mind (of course) and wouldn’t some of them look oh so cute for little girls’ dresses? The Christmas ones have me thinking about Christmas stockings, table runners, stocking fillers and the main fabric design from that collection is perfect for making a homemade advent calendar! Feeling inspired? What do you think you’d like to make from these gorgeous fabrics?

Prairie by Rebecca Stoner: Rebecca’s collection of delicate, hand drawn fabric designs are inspired by vintage lace and doilies. Prairie is a contemporary mix of folky florals and loose, sketchy geometrics that has been heavily influenced by traditional textile techniques such as crochet and embroidery.

Christmas Wish by Lizzie Mackay: The Christmas Wish collection is a little world of wonder, inspired by Lizzie’s memories of the magic of Christmas and tinted with a vintage feel. It reflects Lizzie’s love of hand drawn characters which she combines digitally with carefully chosen colour and pattern.
